Job Description
Are you based in the Warrington area and looking to utilise your experience in working with SEN children in a 1:1 Classroom Support role? If you have a background in supporting children and young adults with special needs and have a passion for assisting with learning and development, this is the role for you!
Academics are looking for a confident and highly experienced 1:1 Classroom Support for specialist SEN schools across Warrington. There is a range of roles available in multiple different specialist schools across Warrington, varying from daily, short-term and long-term positions.
We are seeking someone who has experience in a classroom setting and has worked in 1:1 roles with vulnerable children before.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 support for children with special needs.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students.
- Creating a safe and positive environment for students to thrive.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and assisting with emotional regulation.
About You:
- Ability to adapt to the different needs of children,
- Knowledge and experience with vulnerable individuals with ASD, moderate to severe learning difficulties and other disabilities.
- Prior experience in a classroom setting, particularly with SEN schools.
- A previous role as a 1:1 Classroom Support would be advantageous.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
