About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Bartender in the UK, with a good understanding of professional bar operations, customer service, drink preparation, and health and safety standards.
Candidates who have completed relevant bartending or hospitality training will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Prepare cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other drinks to a high standard.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented bar area.
- Restock beverages, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Follow company procedures for cash handling and stock control.
- Follow health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing the bar.
- Work effectively with the wider hospitality team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Essential Requirements
- Previous professional Bartending experience in the UK.
- Good knowledge of UK hospitality and bar service standards.
- Experience working in a busy bar, restaurant, hotel, pub, or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of beverages, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Training & Qualifications
- Relevant Bartending, Mixology, or Hospitality training is required/preferred.
- Cocktail-making or beverage-service training is an advantage.
- Food Hygiene and Health & Safety training is an advantage.
- Any relevant UK hospitality certifications will be considered a plus.
