Billing Specialist

Salary: £38,(Apply online only)-£40,(Apply online only) per annum DOE
Location: Norwich, NR6

About the role

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to take ownership of the monthly telecoms billing process using the aBILLity billing system.

You'll ensure customer invoices are accurate and delivered on time, manage supplier billing information, resolve billing queries and provide reliable reporting to senior leadership. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to improve billing processes, strengthen controls and enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly bill run, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
• Validate billing data, complete reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Process supplier billing files, tariffs and credits, liaising with suppliers to resolve issues
• Respond to customer billing queries, managing disputes, corrections and credits through to resolution
• Produce billing reports and management information for senior leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, data quality and processes
• Maintain robust billing controls and support month-end activities and audits

About you

• Proven experience in telecoms billing, revenue assurance or a similar role
• Experience with aBILLity or a comparable telecoms billing platform
• Good understanding of telecoms products, tariffs, usage data and supplier billing
• Strong numerical, analytical, reconciliation and spreadsheet skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Confident communicator with a proactive, customer-focused approach
