Design Technology Teacher

Hays Education is working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in November 2026.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing school with a strong reputation for academic excellence, excellent leadership, and a positive learning environment. • Teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback
• Contributing to the wider life of the department and school
• Full-time maternity cover from November 2026

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Design Technology in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
