Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Master Technician
Location: Maidenhead
Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 Basic Salary | OTE £45,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys fault-finding, complex diagnostics, and working with the latest vehicle technology. If you're a Master Technician or have advanced diagnostic skills, a higher salary will be considered for the right candidate.

The Role
As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you'll be the workshop's technical specialist, diagnosing complex faults and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults
andmiddot;Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to the highest standard
andmiddot;Supporting workshop technicians with technical guidance and complex fault diagnosis
andmiddot;Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
andmiddot;Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
andmiddot;Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
andmiddot;Working efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets

About You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
andmiddot;Extensive experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, or Master Technician
andmiddot;Exceptional fault-finding and diagnostic skills
andmiddot;Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
andmiddot;Mazda or Honda experience would be highly desirable, although other manufacturer backgrounds will be considered
andmiddot;MOT Licence beneficial but not essential
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence
andmiddot;A positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to delivering first-time fixes
