Job Description
We're hiring an Electrician to join a globally recognised manufacturer based in the High Peak.
This is a great opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped heavy engineering workshop, wiring and testing electrical control panels as part of a skilled and experienced team.

- £33k - £38k p/a
- 4-day workweek
- Day shifts: 7:30am - 4:30pm Mon - Thu
- Overtime available at an enhanced rate

What will you be doing as an Electrician?
- Control panel assembly - building, wiring and testing electrical control panels
- Assembling and connecting electromechanical components
- Reading and working from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Carrying out electrical fault finding where required
- Ensuring all work conforms to relevant drawing specifications and tolerances
- Checking that calibrated equipment is in good condition and within calibration date
What do you need?
- Time served to NVQ3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable)
- Experience working as an electrician within heavy manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience with 3 phase electrical systems and panel wiring
- Experience with frequency inverters and PLCs
