Permanent | 2 positions available

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join a busy property and maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to carry out a varied range of electrical repairs, installations, testing and maintenance work while making a positive difference to local residents and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical repairs, installations, rewires and new circuits across domestic and commercial properties.
  • Complete electrical testing, inspections and relevant certification.
  • Maintain and test fire alarms, emergency lighting, smoke alarms and door entry systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, heating controls and associated systems.
  • Ensure all work meets current regulations, health and safety requirements and agreed timescales.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and residents.
  • Support and mentor apprentices and other team members.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota.

About You

You'll have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification.
  • AM2 or equivalent.
  • Completed an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in electrical testing, inspection, maintenance and fault finding.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
