Housing Options Advisor - North Northamptonshire Council

Ongoing contract
Location: NN15 7QX
Working Pattern: 4 days onsite, 1 day work from home
Rate: £25-28 ph Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers who are homeless or threatened with homelessness, providing advice, triage and assessment services.
• Manage a caseload of homelessness prevention and relief cases in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory guidance and council policies.
• Complete Full Housing Assessments (FHAs) and develop Personal Housing Plans (PHPs) to identify appropriate housing solutions.
• Provide tailored housing advice, landlord negotiation, mediation and tenancy sustainment support.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, housing providers, landlords, support organisations and external agencies.
