HGV MOBILE TECHNICIAN
Salary: £21.00 - £25.00 per hour
Hours: 47.5 hours per week
Location: Covering Dagenham/Essex

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a skilled HGV Mobile Technician to join a growing and successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of HGVs, LCVs and trailers at customer locations.

The role will involve working on a variety of powered assets, including trucks with different configurations and specifications, as well as trailers including double-deck and moving-floor trailers.

The Role:
andmiddot;Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, LCVs and trailers
andmiddot;Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
andmiddot;Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
andmiddot;Work on a variety of trailers, including double-deck and moving-floor equipment
andmiddot;Accurately complete compliance records and job information using an electronic tablet
andmiddot;Work in line with company procedures, risk assessments and health and safety requirements
andmiddot;Liaise directly with customers and provide a professional service
andmiddot;Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For:
andmiddot;Previous experience working on HGV and LCV vehicles
andmiddot;Experience with trailers is highly desirable
andmiddot;IRTEC registration is advantageous, although training can be provided
andmiddot;Tail lift and/or moving-floor experience is desirable
andmiddot;Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
andmiddot;Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
andmiddot;Excellent communication and customer service skills
andmiddot;Good understanding of health and safety procedures
