Role:-Plant & Tool Fitter

Location:- Bracknell, Berkshire

Salary: -15.50 per hour (Basic)

Overtime:23.25-per hour ( Monday- Friday ) , -31-per hour (Saturday)

Shift Timings: 7:00am to 5:00pm

Contracted Hours: 45 hours per week

Rocket Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Plant & Tool Fitter--to join a busy- team in-Bracknell . This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking for long-term work with consistent hours.

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining HGVs, plant and heavy machinery
• Working across a varied range of equipment, meaning no two days are the same
• Carrying out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine repairs
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Completing preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Preparing machinery and vehicles for work
• Attending breakdowns and responding to repair requirements when needed
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Keeping accurate records of servicing and repairs
• Working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Requirments

• Experience as an HGV Fitter, Plant Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills
• Experience working on plant, HGVs or other heavy machinery
• Qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is desirable but not essential
• Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
• Comfortable working on a variety of machinery and adapting to different challenges
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work to a high standard
• Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
