Location: Rotherham
Salary: -16 - -18 per hour
Hours: Full-time / Part-time
Contract: Temporary/Permanent



About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team.

You will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. You will work closely with colleagues and parents/carers to support each child's individual needs and ensure they receive the highest standard of care and education.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children aged [age range].

  • Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.

  • Support children's personal, social and emotional development.

  • Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.

  • Observe, assess and record children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.

  • Work effectively as part of a supportive and professional team.



About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent).

  • Passionate about working with young children.

  • Caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic.

  • Able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.

  • Confident in supporting children's learning and development.

  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding.

  • A positive team player with a professional approach.
