The Opportunity
You'll join an established and collaborative team, working across a varied portfolio of significant developments while having the autonomy to make your mark.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking commercial ownership of MEP packages across major projects.

  • Managing valuations, variations, change control and final accounts.
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and implementing appropriate mitigation.
  • Leading value engineering exercises to maximise project value.
  • Advising clients on commercial strategy and project cost throughout the lifecycle.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and wider project teams.
  • Leading commercial meetings, workshops and client presentations.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced MEP Quantity Surveyors who are commercially strong, client-focused and ready to take greater ownership of major projects.

You'll ideally have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline.
  • Strong experience within MEP Quantity Surveying / Building Services.
  • Proven experience managing mechanical and electrical packages from pre-contract through to final account.
  • A strong understanding of NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to deal directly with clients, contractors and senior project stakeholders.
  • MRICS status or a genuine commitment towards achieving chartership would be advantageous.
  • A proactive approach and ambition to progress within a growing consultancy.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Why This Role?
This is a genuine opportunity to step into a senior position where your experience will have a visible impact.

You'll work on high-profile, technically challenging projects, gain valuable client exposure and have the support to continue developing your career - whether that means progressing towards chartership or ultimately moving into a senior leadership position.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering quality work while maintaining a genuinely collaborative culture. You'll be joining a team where people are supported, development is encouraged and progression is achievable.

What's on Offer?

  • £60,000 - £80,000 salary, depending on experience
  • Private healthcare
  • Competitive pension contribution
  • Paid professional memberships
  • Full APC / chartership support
  • Travel expenses covered for office and site visits
  • Genuine long-term career progression
  • Collaborative, supportive team environment
