We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run car garage in Horley, Surrey, for the position of Service Advisor. The Service Advisor will be a key member of a friendly and supportive team, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. Duties of the Service Advisor:

• Answering incoming phone calls and handling customer enquiries professionally
• Managing appointment bookings and scheduling service jobs efficiently
• Raising job cards and liaising with the Aftersales Manager
• Delivering excellent customer service at the front desk
• Providing administrative support, including upselling services when appropriate
• Covering the front desk during busy periods as part of a dedicated team
• Managing a fast-paced environment with energy, multitasking skills, and efficiency

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor trade
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Polite and professional telephone manner
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
• Good administrative skills and a proactive attitude
• Enthusiastic approach to delivering high standards of customer service
