SERVICE ADVISOR
Location: Walton-on-Thames
Salary: £32,000 Basic + Bonus
Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm + Saturday 8:00am-12:30pm on a rota
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Service Advisor, you'll be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a professional and efficient experience from initial contact through to vehicle collection.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Welcoming and assisting customers
andmiddot;Managing customer enquiries by phone and in person
andmiddot;Booking vehicles into the workshop
andmiddot;Completing vehicle health checks
andmiddot;Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
andmiddot;Liaising closely with technicians and workshop colleagues
andmiddot;Identifying additional work and communicating recommendations to customers
andmiddot;Processing orders accurately and efficiently
andmiddot;Ensuring customer requirements are dealt with promptly
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate administrative records
andmiddot;Providing excellent customer service throughout the entire process
andmiddot;Working towards department targets and productivity requirements
andmiddot;Supporting the wider aftersales team when required

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who has:
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer-facing role
andmiddot;Excellent customer service and communication skills
andmiddot;Good knowledge of computer systems
andmiddot;Strong organisational and administrative skills
andmiddot;The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
andmiddot;A confident and professional manner
andmiddot;Good attention to detail
andmiddot;The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
andmiddot;A proactive approach to customer service
andmiddot;A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
Automotive/dealership experience is preferred, particularly where you've worked closely with workshop teams and customers, but the key requirement is the ability to deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
