Site Manager - Recladding

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a main contractor on a 12-month recladding project in Cardiff, commencing January 2027.

The project involves render and external faandccedil;ade works, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background delivering recladding / external refurbishment projects for a main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the site and site team
• Oversee render, recladding and associated faandccedil;ade works
• Manage subcontractors and labour on site
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with RAMS
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client, subcontractors and wider project team
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout the project

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
• Strong recladding / external refurbishment / faandccedil;ade experience
• Previous experience managing render projects would be highly beneficial
• SMSTS
• CSCS Black Manager's Card
• First Aid
• Strong understanding of health & safety, quality and site management procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

This role would particularly suit a Site Manager who has progressed through main contractor environments and has hands-on experience delivering recladding or faandccedil;ade refurbishment projects.
