Vehicle Technician


Location: Exeter
Salary: Up to £34,000 Basic | OTE £40,000
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week | Saturday Mornings on a Rota
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.


Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
andmiddot;Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
andmiddot;Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
andmiddot;Achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis
andmiddot;Following manufacturer and health & safety procedures
andmiddot;Maintaining workshop equipment and a safe working environment
andmiddot;Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
andmiddot;Speaking with customers where required to assist with technical explanations
andmiddot;Ensuring every vehicle is treated with the highest level of care


About You
You'll ideally have:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician
andmiddot;Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence
andmiddot;MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential
