THE ROLE
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are returned to customers safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Carrying out vehicle inspections, servicing and repairs
andmiddot;Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
andmiddot;Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
andmiddot;Working to manufacturer repair and servicing guidelines
andmiddot;Keeping the Service Team updated on vehicle progress
andmiddot;Clearly explaining technical issues and completed work where required
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate repair records and documentation
andmiddot;Working efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship
andmiddot;Supporting other technicians during busy periods
andmiddot;Identifying and reporting any safety concerns
andmiddot;Maintaining high standards of workshop cleanliness and safety
andmiddot;Keeping technical knowledge and skills up to date

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic with:
andmiddot;Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
andmiddot;Proven experience within the automotive industry
andmiddot;Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
andmiddot;Good mechanical and technical knowledge
andmiddot;Ability to explain technical information clearly
andmiddot;Strong attention to detail
andmiddot;Customer-focused approach
andmiddot;Ability to work independently and as part of a team
andmiddot;Professional, honest and reliable approach
andmiddot;Full UK driving licence
andmiddot;MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
andmiddot;Previous main dealer experience would be advantageous
