Temporary Technical Coordinator

Our client, a well established organisation who we have a long standing relationship with within the food production industry, based in Stonehouse, has an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join their team on a full time, temporary basis.
The successful Technical Coordinator should have:
andmiddot;Previous experience within a food manufacturing, quality, or technical environment.
andmiddot;A working knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and GMP.
andmiddot;Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
andmiddot;The ability to maintain accurate records and manage technical documentation.
andmiddot;Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
andmiddot;A proactive approach and willingness to support a busy technical team.
andmiddot;Experience of BRC standards would be advantageous.
In this role, the Technical Coordinator will be responsible for:
andmiddot;Supporting the day-to-day operation of the site's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, including HACCP and GMP.
andmiddot;Maintaining technical documentation, specifications, traceability records, and quality data.
andmiddot;Assisting with audits, ensuring compliance with BRC standards, customer requirements, and relevant legislation.
andmiddot;Supporting investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
andmiddot;Coordinating product testing, sampling, and quality assessments, escalating any out-of-specification results where required.
andmiddot;Supporting new product and process development activities, including product launches and specification management.
andmiddot;Monitoring food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across the site, promoting continuous improvement.
andmiddot;Providing administrative and technical support to the wider Technical team.
Our client is offering the successful Technical Coordinator an hourly rate of £14.42 per hour plus benefits including holiday allowance.
