Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a-Trainee Alloy Wheel Refurb & Tyre Fitter-to join a reputable, award-winning vehicle preparation centre located in Dover, Kent.   • Competitive basic salary up to -26,436.80, depending on experience and age
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 07:30 to 16:30
  • No weekends or overtime

Duties of the-Trainee Alloy Wheel Refurb & Tyre Fitter:
  • Assist with alloy wheel refurbishment, including rubbing, sanding, sandblasting, keying up, and disc abrasive work to restore wheels for sale
  • Support tyre fitting processes, learning techniques to ensure quality service
  • Contribute to vehicle preparation tasks to high standards
  • Develop industrial skills applicable across various areas of vehicle preparation
  • Support team members with general vehicle presentation tasks, maintaining quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing training to extend technical skills into diagnostic and servicing disciplines
Requirements of the-Trainee Wheel Technician:
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude to learning
  • Responsible work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Enthusiasm for working within the automotive sector
  • No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided
  • Genuine interest in developing a career in vehicle preparation and the motor trade
