IMH Recruitment are seeking a General Yard Operative to join our client in Barnsley.

Job Duties:

• Sort metals and strip down cables.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to complete various yard duties
• Operate the weighbridge on the yard
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Keeping the yard tidy
• Other duties as required
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

About You:

• Previous yard experience or working in a recycling/scrap metal environment would be an advantage
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm
• Starting salary -13.25 per hour.
• Weekly pay via agency!
